Are you an iPhone user? Deleted all your important older text messages? Would you like to restore them? Then this article would help you fix the problem.
You might have deleted your messages and now you are realizing and need those messages. Well, don’t worry!!! You can restore it easily. Here are the 3 different ways to restore all your deleted messages on iPhone,
1). Restore from iCloud: Try back up of your messages through iCloud back up. If it doesn’t work then follow these steps,
- Open iCloud website and login to https://www.icloud.com/ using your credentials (ID and password)
- If your messages are already backed up then you won’t find any option of text messages to restore. If that doesn’t happen, then you will find text messages option, click on it.
- Open the messages which you need to restore.
- Now, open your mobile (iPhone) and go to settings -> iCloud.
- Now, turn off your text messages.
- You will get a pop – up. Click on “keep on my iPhone”
- Now, go to messages and click “merge” and then wait. You will find your selected text messages back on your iPhone.
Don’t worry if it doesn’t work for you then try below method,
2). Restore from iTunes
Don’t be panicked if the above process didn’t work for you. We have two further alternatives to attempt. In the first place how about we have a go at recovering erased SMS messages by means of an iTunes platform.
Unless you have disabled the sync alternative in iTunes, you needed to have made a backup everytime you synched with your PC or Mac.
- Join your iPhone to the PC. Now iTunes will get opened (if not, open it).
- You could to see your iPhone show up. Select it.
- Select ‘Restore back up.
- All the information you beforehand moved down will now get replaced with the information on your mobile. It will take a couple of minutes.
3). Restore with third – party applications
If it doesn’t work with neither of the above two alternatives, the time has come to go with other option i.e third party service providing applications. But the disadvantage of using these apps is – it may cost you little or bigger. Instead, there is no 100% guarantee that they work correctly.
We’ve never utilized both of these, yet two or three applications seem to have a decent online fame:
- WonderShare Dr.Fone for iOS and
- Tenorshare iPhone Data Recovery
These are very simple to use – just open and connect your device, and then scan your device and at last preview and recover all your data. Since even after you have “deleted” messages they stay on your handset until overwritten, you need to have the capacity to recover erased messages using these utilities (and others) – yet there is no assurance.
